Laptop Management with Windows Mobility Center

Posted on March 28, 2013 by Dan Doicaru in Windows Category

With the Mobility Center Panel available for laptops running the Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate editions of Windows 7, you can adjust your display brightness and volume, check your battery status, change your power settings, and turn your wireless on and off, among other tasks.

It's all in one place, so you don't need to go hunting around for settings when you move from your desk to a meeting or your home to the airport. (You might see different options depending on your hardware and PC manufacturer.)

The Windows Mobility Center can be accessed using 3 ways:

Open Windows Mobility Center by Keyboard

Press on your keyboard the Windows Logo Key + X.

Open Windows Mobility Center from Start Menu

Go to Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > Windows Mobility Center.

Open Windows Mobility Center from Control Panel

Go to Control Panel, select the View Type by Small Icons, then search for Windows Mobility Center.
